We ensure that your data is securely stored and GDPR compliant. We store your data safely with best-of-breed cloud servers.

Section 2: Registration

If you register on our website, we store your chosen username and your email address and any additional personal information added to your user profile. You can see, edit, or delete your personal information at any time (except changing your email ID). Website administrators can also see and edit this information. If you register with the website by your Google or Facebook accounts directly, we fetch and use your profile data from these third-party websites.

When you leave comments on the website, we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

User Information like name, phone no or email id submitted on our site is sent to our company email, hosted by Google. We adhere to the EU/US “Privacy Shield” policy. These submissions are never shared with any third party. Contact details are collected to send the generated audio on you email in some cases. While signing in, user also give consent to be contacted for new features on Speechmax website and different offers and discounts.

  • Our supporters when they (in order to provide support) need to get the information about the client accounts and access.

We don’t share your data with third parties in a way as to reveal any of your personal information like email, name, etc. The only exceptions to that rule are for partners we have to share limited data with in order to provide the services you expect from us.

Section 12: How Long We Retain Your Data

When you submit a support ticket or a comment, its metadata is retained until (if) you tell us to remove it. We use this data so that we can recognize you and approve your comments automatically instead of holding them for moderation.

If you register on our website, we also store the personal information you provide in your user profile. You can see, edit, or delete your personal information at any time (except changing your username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

Section 16: Release of Your Data for Legal Purposes

You agree that we may disclose your information to a third party where we believe, in good faith, that it is desirable to do so for the purposes of a civil action, criminal investigation, or other legal matter. In the event that we receive a subpoena affecting your privacy, we may elect to notify you to give you an opportunity to file a motion to quash the subpoena, or we may attempt to quash it ourselves, but we are not obligated to do either. We may also proactively report you, and release your information to, third parties where we believe that it is prudent to do so for legal reasons, such as our belief that you have engaged in fraudulent activities. Section 17: Payment, Refund, and Cancellation Policy

  • Payments:

    Currently, our services are billed on a monthly basis subscription, or a fixed basis unless otherwise specified. We do not store the user’s payment methods, (Card/UPI?Net banking, etc details). We do not auto deduct or auto-renew the services. The user has to manually renew the services once the subscription period is over.

    We use Razorpay (website: https://razorpay.com/) as our payment gateway partner. We follow their T&C and Policies that can be found here https://razorpay.com/privacy/

    The data is encrypted through the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS) when processing payment. Your purchase transaction data is only used as long as is necessary to complete your purchase transaction. After that is complete, your purchase transaction information is not saved.

    Our payment gateway adheres to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Rupay, Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover.

    If services are being left unpaid for an all-inclusive time frame we maintain all authority to expel the service (counting all information) from our servers without notice.

  • Refunds:

    Due to the nature of our services, we will not be providing refunds once you have confirmed payment of your purchase.

    We are not responsible for any bank charges, commissions, or overdrafts. The only way to remove these charges is through direct negotiation with your bank.

  • Cancellations:

    The client may cancel the subscription whenever they want by contacting us. Payment is asked on monthly basis and that is non-refundable.

    All the subscription plans available on the website are not auto-renewable and the client has to renew the subscription manually.

You agree to provide current, complete, and accurate purchase and account information for all purchases made at our website. We reserve the right to limit or prohibit orders that, in our sole judgment, appear to be placed by dealers, resellers, or distributors.

All User and Client of Speechmax agree to not use the voices from Speechmax, or contents created with the voices from Speechmax, for any use that can be deemed unethical, immoral, illegal, unlawful, or in any shape or form that might be deemed against the societal, cultural, and legal norms of the country you reside in and the contents will be available in. Speechmax will not be held liable for the actions of the users or the clients in such a fashion and manner.

  • Users are advised to give full credit to Speechmax when publishing the developed digital work to any online/offline media.
  • Available background music on the website is taken from www.bensound.com. By agreeing to the policy, the user agrees with the user policy of Ben Sound (https://www.bensound.com/terms). It is advised to give credit to Ben Sound in your work while publishing online.

Section 20: Law and Jurisdiction

Any disputes that arise from this policy, terms, and conditions, and other activities, would be under the jurisdiction of the competent Courts of New Delhi, India. However, we reserve all right to take legal proceedings to any country other than India in order to protect its interest and enforce its right whenever they find it appropriate.
